THE SYMBOLISM
Queen's crown hovers above her head. She's still growing into her crown.
Queen is a poet. The red moon represents late night creativity.
Queen shared that elephants with their trunks facing up represent good luck.
The skyline is on fire symbolizes her love for spicy food!
The butterfly wing in her afro connects with the emerging butterfly that hangs in the cocoon from her neck signifying growth & development. The bright sun, and refreshing waterfall represent her love for nature. She wears flowers while performing.
Cherry blossoms are Queen's favorite flower. Her "shirt" represents armor against the ill-will of the world. She is protected by both geometrical shapes with hard lines and soft organic shapes.
Her left side, which includes the fruits and vegetables & organic shapes, is contrasted with hard, geometric lines on her "armor." At the base of her left arm, are word bracelets with words that represent the themes of her poetry, her life mission & her spirit: love, healing, hope, joy, peace, live.
